Danish 1 to 1 Business

These courses in Danish are meant for those that feel that learning Danish would make a change in their work. For starters, it is expedient to learn how to say hello/goodbye, as well as basic business protocol; once the basics have been mastered, reading and writing come to the fore. Students who have greatly benefitted have been involved in import/export, international negotiations and acquisitions, jobseekers in multinational companies where another language is required, and those working in the international academia and government circuits. Even on our most fundamental beginner's course, students can anticipate ending the course with basic telephone Danish and e-mail Danish skills for communicating, as well as survival Danish if a short visit to the country is needed.

This set of Danish tutorials are less specific and more targeted at those who want to get a range of different things from learning Danish. Even though all novice students will cover survival Danish: enough Danish to make a visit to the country or make good contacts with the locals, but what do you do from there? It depends on your needs. Those who have benefitted from these courses have been those moving or investing overseas, spouses of overseas nationals, people who love to travel all over the world, those interested in Danish culture, and those who just want to pass a specific examination in Danish.

Bedford

As the county town of Bedfordshire, Bedford was a market town for the surrounding farmland during the early Middle Ages, and was also the home and prison of John Bunyan, author of The Pilgrim's Progress. Nowadays the town is home to over 80,000 people, and has the largest concentration of Italian immigrants in the UK. The town centre is split in two by the river Great Ouse, and the banks are adorned with botanical gardens known as The Embankment, which plays host to the annual River Festival - the second largest regular outdoor event in the UK.
