They give focused attention to expanding your day-to-day grammar and vocabulary, enabling you to improve your spoken and written German with relative speed and ease. General courses best suit those wishing to improve their German to conversational level, as well as students who hope to continue their German studies to a more advanced level.
Our German group courses are targeted for sets of 2-12 people, all of whom have the same requirements from learning German. Everybody should be at about the same level at the start of the course, and the entire group should be able to meet at the same time and place each week. Grammar and vocabulary form the backbone of the general course, helping the student gain fluency in conversational topics whilst increasing their overall working German knowledge. "The German course is going great. German is a very difficult language - I didn't think I would be able to understand the grammar, but it is starting to make sense! Susanne has been a great teacher. She has so much patience and we actually have fun during our time together. "
