Everybody can benefit from our general German courses - they endeavour to give the learner fluency in general German conversation, whether through learning the basics or improving existing skills. General courses concentrate mainly on sharpening up grammar and vocabulary, and aim to expand the ability to speak, read and listen German with full comprehension. These courses will be most suitable for those who want to improve their German to a practicable level, or as a basis for a business German course.
Our German group courses are targeted for sets of 2-12 people, all of whom have the same requirements from learning German. Everybody should be at about the same level at the start of the course, and the entire group should be able to meet at the same time and place each week. Grammar and vocabulary form the backbone of the general course, helping the student gain fluency in conversational topics whilst increasing their overall working German knowledge. For groups who wish to engage in further German study, the general course is an excellent starting point.
One-to-one business German courses are aimed at learners who already have at least a working knowledge of German, but would like to further develop their skills in business communication. Our courses can be adapted to focus on your particular industry, and your trainer can help you with specific areas of skill development, such as report-writing, dictation, or business correspondence. Business German courses are great for any professionals who would benefit from further knowledge of German, including those working in multinational companies, preparing for international transfer, or seeking a new position. Many of our business students work in import/export, international negotiations and acquisitions, academia, and government.
Business German courses for groups cater to anywhere between 2 and 12 people who all have the same starting level and learning aims in their German study. Business classes concentrate on improving existing German skills in order to broaden the learner's ability to use their new language in day to day business affairs, whether that includes covering vocabulary specific to an individual industry or improving pertinent skill sets in the target language (from writing emails to giving a successful presentation).
