Our general Italian language courses are suitable for learners of any level. They aim to enable communication in everyday situations and are an ideal way to improve your knowledge of Italian, whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned speaker. A general course focuses predominantly on grammar and vocabulary, supported by development of speaking, reading, and listening skills. General courses are ideal if you want to attain or improve on an all-round level of Italian, or build a strong foundation before moving on to business Italian training.
As the ideal starting point for a group of people wishing to gain a strong acquaintance with the ins and outs of conversational Italian, these group classes can be arranged for groups as small as 2 people, and as large as 12 - our only provisos are that the whole class are able to meet at a consistent time and place each week, and are all of the same approximate Italian level. General courses cover all the grammar and vocabulary you need to gain a practicable advantage in your spoken and written Italian, and are also an excellent basis for further Italian study.
Our business courses cater to learners with a decent general knowledge of Italian but would like to expand their skills for use in the business world. Courses are, as always, completely tailormade for the relevant industry and skill sets (e.g. business correspondence, writing reports etc.). One-to-one business courses are perfect for professionals hoping to develop their current Italian skills, especially those working for multinational corporations, preparing to work from abroad, or looking for overseas employment.
Intended for learners who already have a basic grasp of Italian and wish to extend it to apply to their working lives, group business Italian courses are a great way to enable employees within a multinational corporation to be productive in both their native tongue and their newly-acquired Italian. Group courses cater for up to 12 people (minimum of 2 students), and should be scheduled to take place at the same time and location each week. The tutor will develop the group's vocabulary to suit the related industry, as well as improve competence for day to day tasks performed in Italian.
Specific purposes Italian courses are a great boon to people who have already studied Italian and wish to develop certain facets of their Italian skills. This can include an array of helpful guidance, including the following:
• Vocabulary related to the industry (legal, HR, engineering, accounting, medical etc.)

• Expanding upon existing aspects (writing, speaking, listening, reading etc.)
• Language for travelling
• Communication skills in business (e.g. training, negotiation, telephony, presentation)
• Writing skills in business (e.g. reports, business correspondence, proposals)

While your group may be improving their Italian skills with each lesson, there are many elements of Italian that go beyond simply knowing the right word, or the right way to phrase something. Our specific purposes Italian group courses can help you gain skills that increase other facets of your group’s Italian abilities, including:

Newcastle factsThe 20th most populated city in England, Newcastle resides in northeast England and has a population of around 275,000. Historically famous for its printing presses and glass production, Newcastle's development into a major city was owed much to its export of coal. These days its main industries are office and retail development, which gives local developers a chance to flex their architectural muscle. Newcastle is a popular destination for restaurants, bars and clubs, living up to its reputation as a fun-loving city - The Rough Guide to Britain had Newcastle upon Tyne's nightlife as the UK's number 1 tourist attraction.
