General Japanese language courses are ideal for students at any level, from complete beginners to advanced learners. These courses are based around developing communication skills in common situations. Your teacher will place an emphasis on vocabulary and grammar, with plenty of speaking, listening, and reading practice. Our general Japanese courses are an ideal way to get started in the language, build on existing skills, or attain a working knowledge before progressing to a business or specialised Japanese course.
As the ideal starting point for a group of people wishing to gain a strong acquaintance with the ins and outs of conversational Japanese, these group classes can be arranged for groups as small as 2 people, and as large as 12 - our only provisos are that the whole class are able to meet at a consistent time and place each week, and are all of the same approximate Japanese level. General courses cover all the grammar and vocabulary you need to gain a practicable advantage in your spoken and written Japanese, and are also an excellent basis for further Japanese study.
One-to-one business Japanese courses are aimed at learners who already have at least a working knowledge of Japanese, but would like to further develop their skills in business communication. Our courses can be adapted to focus on your particular industry, and your trainer can help you with specific areas of skill development, such as report-writing, dictation, or business correspondence. Business Japanese courses are great for any professionals who would benefit from further knowledge of Japanese, including those working in multinational companies, preparing for international transfer, or seeking a new position. Many of our business students work in import/export, international negotiations and acquisitions, academia, and government.
Group business Japanese courses are intended for small groups (of 2 to 12 students) who already have a working knowledge of Japanese, and want to extend their skills in the arena of business language. Your group should have approximately the same level of Japanese, whether that be intermediate, upper intermediate, or advanced. You should all be available at the same time every week, and have complementary learning aims. Your trainer will develop your course around your group's language goals and particular field of business, and can incorporate any specific areas of focus, such as improving negotiation or presentation skills. Group business language courses are suitable for a wide range of organisations, including multinational companies, and those whose employees require a higher level of Japanese to develop international business relationships.

"I really enjoyed the program of my Japanese course. Eiko was really organized with my lessons and really professional. She has been as pleasant and as reliable as she has been since I started. I wish I can continue with the course, but I will be moving to Taiwan very soon. I really appreciate your help! Best Regards, Johnny,"
