The type of courses we offer:

Face-to-Face 1-to-1 (Individual) General Korean

These lessons in Korean are wide-ranging by nature and are driven towards students who have a variety of differing needs. All beginner students will expect to study enough survival Korean to get them through a short visit to the country. Those who choose to continue with the lessons will progress differently, depending on their individual requests and requirements. Whether you are buying property in a foreign country, married to a foreign national, planning a round-the-world trip, interested in Korean history and culture or if you simply want to attain a particular level of Korean, this is the choice for you. Face-to-Face 1-to-1 (Individual) Business Korean

These lessons in Korean are meant for those who feel that learning Korean would make a change in their work. For starters, it is expedient to learn how to say hello/goodbye, as well as basic business protocol; once the basics have been mastered, reading and writing come to the fore. Students who have greatly benefited have been involved in import/export, international negotiations and acquisitions, jobseekers in multinational companies where another language is required and those working in the international academia and government circuits. Even in our most fundamental beginner's lesson, students can anticipate ending the lesson with basic telephone Korean and e-mail Korean skills for communicating, as well as survival Korean if a short visit to the country is needed. Every student must have the same degree of knowledge of the language, the same business or language needs and the ability to study at the same time and place as everybody else. The booking has to be made for all students at the same time. Listen & Learn does not advocate group sessions of more than 6-8 people, though Taster Korean Lessons can be experienced by up to 12 people. “아리랑” (Arirang)

Listen to popular Korean songs to learn useful vocabulary, develop your pronunciation and about the culture and beliefs of native speakers! For example, Arirang is a piece that talks about a woman whose lover stops caring about her. She ultimately loses the love of her life and travels throughout Korea to find him. So, you will get familiar with words that express love, sorrow and heartbreak, as well as with geographic locations in the country and words related to landscapes, such as hills (eondeog), clear sky (malg-eun haneul) or long rivers (gin gang). Spring Day- BTS

Are you a BTS fan looking to improve their Korean skills? Then, catchy, upbeat songs, like Spring Day, can be your best allies. This specific piece talks about two lovers who hate the passing of time because they are not together, and it is great for beginners because it does not include any complicated structures or vocabulary. In fact, the song is entirely in the present-simple tense and uses everyday terms related to feelings, such as hate, love, heart or kiss. Plus, it has a fairly slow pace and a lot of repetition, so you can sing along to the song and practise your pronunciation! Listen to this piece here!

Lonely- 2NE1

If K-pop is one of your passions, why not combine it with your Korean studies to improve your skills in a meaningful way? For example, you can listen to Lonely, one of the most well-known hits by 2NE1, a girl K-pop band. The song is about a girl who decides to get over a heartbreak and move on. Instead of feeling lonely and sad about this situation, she realises she needs to get together with her friends and do things that make her happy. The song is great for advanced students because it features a lot of idioms and colloquial phrases. Listen to this piece here!
