Korean Lessons in Wolverhampton

Don’t let everyday distractions stop you from learning the language you’ve always wanted to know. Sign up for a face-to-face Korean course with us and start your journey to fluency. Just tell us when you would like to start and we’ll pair you up with one of our native tutors for a personalized in-person course.

The type of courses we offer:

Face-to-Face 1-to-1 (Individual) General Korean

This set of Korean tutorials are less specific and more targeted for those who want to get a range of different things from learning Korean. Even though all novice students will cover survival Korean: as well as Korean to visit somewhere abroad to make solid contacts with the locals, what do you do from there? It depends on your needs. Those who have benefited from these lessons have been those moving or investing overseas, spouses of overseas nationals, people who love to travel all over the world, those interested in Korean culture and those who just want to pass a specific examination in Korean. Face-to-Face 1-to-1 (Individual) Business Korean

These Korean Lessons are intended for people who really need to learn Korean to help make that difference in their work. For beginners, it will be useful to learn greetings and basic business etiquette; at higher levels, reading and then writing become more important. Typical students include those involved in import/export, international negotiations and acquisitions, jobseekers in multinational companies where an additional language is required, and those working with international colleagues, academia and government. Even in our most basic lesson for Beginners, students should expect to end the lesson with basic telephone Korean and Korean e-mail skills for communication as well as survival Korean required for short visits to a country. Spring Day- BTS

Are you a BTS fan looking to improve their Korean skills? Then, catchy, upbeat songs, like Spring Day, can be your best allies. This specific piece talks about two lovers who hate the passing of time because they are not together, and it is great for beginners because it does not include any complicated structures or vocabulary. In fact, the song is entirely in the present-simple tense and uses everyday terms related to feelings, such as hate, love, heart or kiss. Plus, it has a fairly slow pace and a lot of repetition, so you can sing along to the song and practise your pronunciation! Listen to this piece here!

Lonely- 2NE1

If K-pop is one of your passions, why not combine it with your Korean studies to improve your skills in a meaningful way? For example, you can listen to Lonely, one of the most well-known hits by 2NE1, a girl K-pop band. The song is about a girl who decides to get over a heartbreak and move on. Instead of feeling lonely and sad about this situation, she realises she needs to get together with her friends and do things that make her happy. The song is great for advanced students because it features a lot of idioms and colloquial phrases. Listen to this piece here!
