All our native Romanian tutors are fully qualified and ready to arrange classes in your home or place of work in London, and lessons are arranged according to your timetable, not theirs. Course text books are included in the price, and lesson times can easily be rearranged in advance. Your tailormade course depends on your chosen package:
Our general courses are a good place to start your Romanian studies, or to improve upon your current skills. They give focused attention to expanding your day-to-day grammar and vocabulary, enabling you to improve your spoken and written Romanian with relative speed and ease. General courses best suit those wishing to improve their Romanian to conversational level, as well as students who hope to continue their Romanian studies to a more advanced level.
Our Romanian group courses are targeted for sets of 2-12 people, all of whom have the same requirements from learning Romanian. Everybody should be at about the same level at the start of the course, and the entire group should be able to meet at the same time and place each week. Grammar and vocabulary form the backbone of the general course, helping the student gain fluency in conversational topics whilst increasing their overall working Romanian knowledge. For groups who wish to engage in further Romanian study, the general course is an excellent starting point.
One-to-one business Romanian courses are aimed at learners who already have at least a working knowledge of Romanian, but would like to further develop their skills in business communication. Our courses can be adapted to focus on your particular industry, and your trainer can help you with specific areas of skill development, such as report-writing, dictation, or business correspondence. Business Romanian courses are great for any professionals who would benefit from further knowledge of Romanian, including those working in multinational companies, preparing for international transfer, or seeking a new position. Many of our business students work in import/export, international negotiations and acquisitions, academia, and government.
Group business Romanian courses are intended for small groups (of 2 to 12 students) who already have a working knowledge of Romanian, and want to extend their skills in the arena of business language. Your group should have approximately the same level of Romanian, whether that be intermediate, upper intermediate, or advanced. You should all be available at the same time every week, and have complementary learning aims. Your trainer will develop your course around your group's language goals and particular field of business, and can incorporate any specific areas of focus, such as improving negotiation or presentation skills. Group business language courses are suitable for a wide range of organisations, including multinational companies, and those whose employees require a higher level of Romanian to develop international business relationships.
Designed for those already with a good grasp of Romanian, who may have designs to use their acquired language for specific purposes, these courses can incorporate various skills and practices that help make the difference between sticking out like a sore thumb and blending in like a local, including:
• Elocution and softening of native accent
• Improving specific skills (writing, comprehension, listening, etc.)
• Language for international travel
• Business communication skills (e.g. training, negotiation, telephony, presentation)
• Business writing skills (e.g. reports, business correspondence, proposals)
• Vocabulary for relevant industry (e.g. medical, legal, HR, engineering, accounting)
• Cultural and historical sensitivity
As long as all members of a group Romanian course are at a similar level of expertise, specific purpose Romanian courses can be customised to suit the needs of the group of 2-12 students with similar learning aims. These often include:
Vocabulary related to the industry (legal, HR, engineering, accounting, medical etc.)
• Accent softening and elocution
• Expanding upon existing aspects (writing, speaking, listening, reading etc.)
• Language for travelling
• Communication skills in business (e.g. training, negotiation, telephony, presentation)
• Writing skills in business (e.g. reports, business correspondence, proposals)
• Historical and cultural sensitivity
"Our native speaker qualified Romanian language teachers can train you and your colleagues at your office or home at a time to suit you. Classes can be any day of the week (even weekends) in the morning."
