When you learn Spanish<\/a>, or any other language, you need to pass through some phases which everyone goes through. At first you feel like you are never going to learn the language, then you learn a few words and think you know it all until someone asks you the time and you reply, \u201cno gracias\u201d, and then you realise that there is still a long road ahead of you.
\n After that it is really a bit of a roller coaster ride \u2013 at least in my experience \u2013 as learning new words make you feel great and making silly mistakes makes you feel as though you have taken big backwards steps in your learning.
\nWithin this process there are several key moments in which you will feel that you have moved onto the next level, and here are my recollections of this happening when I was trying to learn Spanish<\/a> in South America.<\/p>\n
