As native speakers of the glorious land mine that is the English language, please let us assure you: the pronunciation confuses us too.<\/p>\n<h2><b>Dating profile of the letter <\/b><b><i>c<\/i><\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Imagine, if you will, what would happen if you let the letter <i>c<\/i> loose on Tinder.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><i>Hey there, I\u2019m looking for some noncommittal fun! There\u2019ll always be a third wheel in our relationship but I\u2019m so flexible you\u2019ll love me anyway. I can be <\/i><a href=\"http:\/\/www.factmonster.com\/ipka\/A0903396.html\"><i>strong, weak<\/i><\/a><i>, or even <\/i><a href=\"http:\/\/mws.ust.hk\/sir\/silent_words.php\"><i>silent <\/i><\/a><i>depending on what you want from me and who we\u2019re with. But given how difficult it is to get to grips with the seemingly always changing pronunciation of our lovely English language, who knows: perhaps this is exactly what the letter <i>c<\/i> would say if it were given a voice! We\u2019re not singling out <i>c<\/i> especially after a bad break up but let\u2019s face it, we\u2019ve all known one of these characters in our time. We\u2019re not bitter. But we\u2019re not above internet shaming either...<\/p>\n<h2><b>Tongue Twisting<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>In a recent <a href=\"http:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/news\/weird-news\/the-most-difficult-words-to-pronounce-in-the-english-language-revealed--as-well-as-the-worlds-favourite-english-tonguetwisters-10159516.html\">Independent<\/a> article based on a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/AskReddit\/comments\/309261\/whats_the_hardest_english_word_to_pronounce\/\">Reddit thread<\/a>, ten words were voted the most difficult English words to pronounce. See if you agree. Like all us <a href=\"http:\/\/www.buzzfeed.com\/lukelewis\/what-british-people-say-versus-what-they-mean#.hxGN59LjM\">Brits<\/a>, the words we say (at least, the way we write them) are not always exactly what we mean (or how we say them).<\/p>\n<h3><b>1.
