O Auto da Compadecida takes you on a supernatural adventure that will have you laughing at every turn. You will definitely need to watch with subtitles as there are lots of plays on words, though O Auto da Compadecida<\/em> is worth persevering with and a very enjoyable watch. But those plans for change are jeopardised by her daughter having an affair with a married professor, and her son becoming involved in drugs. Directed by Jo\u00e3o Canijo, Sangue do Meu Sangue<\/em> is the kind of story that will make your heart call out for Marcia, who seems to be defeated at every turn. The language in Sangue do Meu Sangue<\/em> is very down to earth so if you are confident in your Portuguese, perhaps try it without subtitles.
