One to One Intensive Courses
We offer both individual and group language courses.
These one-to-one intensive courses can easily make the difference between initially floundering and struggling through your chosen foreign language, or being able to listen and converse confidently. Our native-speaking language trainer can arrange a time and place to meet each week (this can be decided at the end of each preceding session if a regular timetable cannot be agreed).
There are several reasons for the success of these individual intensive courses. Firstly, the individual attention that you will receive from your trainer will be invaluable if you are having any problems or reservations about the language. Queries can be answered immediately, avoiding bad habits and making it clear to you first time around. The course is adaptable, enabling you to spend more time on the details that you find difficult. Secondly, the flexibility of these courses allow you not only to decide when and where your next tutorial takes place, but you and your tutor can create a tailor-made course for yourself, studying the relevant topics according to your precise level, needs, time available and styles of learning. Thirdly, the rigorous and concentrated nature of these (typically) 2-hour classes means that you will be surprised with the speed of your progress: immersing yourself in the language is the best way to learn.
As well as this, there is the peace of mind you gain from learning a language with Listen & Learn. Sessions can be cancelled with only 2 working days notice, at no charge. Our tariffs are fixed – what you see is what you pay, there are no hidden charges such as our trainers’ travel costs. Also, if for any reason you do not get on with your tutor, or find that their style does not suit yours, we will replace them free of charge and find somebody who is more suitable for you.
