Our general courses are a good place to start your Chinese studies, or to improve upon your current skills. They give focused attention to expanding your day-to-day grammar and vocabulary, enabling you to improve your spoken and written Chinese with relative speed and ease. General courses best suit those wishing to improve their Chinese to conversational level, as well as students who hope to continue their Chinese studies to a more advanced level.
As the ideal starting point for a group of people wishing to gain a strong acquaintance with the ins and outs of conversational Chinese, these group classes can be arranged for groups as small as 2 people, and as large as 12 - our only provisos are that the whole class are able to meet at a consistent time and place each week, and are all of the same approximate Chinese level. General courses cover all the grammar and vocabulary you need to gain a practicable advantage in your spoken and written Chinese, and are also an excellent basis for further Chinese study.
1-to-1 business Chinese courses can really help you get ahead, whether you are relocating abroad, looking for work in a foreign country, or simply if you work for a multinational organisation. These courses are mainly aimed at learners who already possess a decent working Chinese knowledge and who want to build on these in order to use their Chinese skills in a business environment. The course is fully customised to take into account not only your learning needs, but also the appropriate industry's vocabulary and any particular skills the role demands, such as report writing or formal correspondence.
Intended for learners who already have a basic grasp of Chinese and wish to extend it to apply to their working lives, group business Chinese courses are a great way to enable employees within a multinational corporation to be productive in both their native tongue and their newly-acquired Chinese. Group courses cater for up to 12 people (minimum of 2 students), and should be scheduled to take place at the same time and location each week. The tutor will develop the group's vocabulary to suit the related industry, as well as improve competence for day to day tasks performed in Chinese.

Belfast factsThe historic capital of Northern Ireland, Belfast is the second largest city on the island of Ireland, after Dublin, with a population of over 275,000 in the city limits alone. Famous for its shipbuilding (the Titanic was built here in 1912, and Belfast also sports the largest drydock in the world), Belfast has been for a long time an industrial city, with industries such as linen, rope-making, tobacco and heavy engineering thriving by the end of the 19th century. However, the city is not without its greenery, with over 40 public parks; and is also a cultural and academic centre, earning it the nickname The Athens of Ireland.
