Cambridge

Cambridge is an old English university town, with a population of around 110,000; 22,000 of whom are students. For its size, Cambridge has an unusually diverse ethnic population, mainly due to the attraction of the university to those from overseas. The city was first founded back in Roman times as a useful place for a military outpost from which to defend the river Cam, and is covered in beautifully-restored old buildings which form the colleges of the historic university, as well as many museums and, more recently, many high-tech businesses in the series of science parks and other developments in and around the city.

"I have been very happy to learn Spanish with Paloma. She makes the lessons interesting and relevant to my needs. A mixture of teaching/learning styles keeps the lessons varied, and is happy to vary the pace as required. She is always well prepared and punctual for the classes, and also flexible for my changing schedule."
