While all beginner level students will cover survival Latin—needed for short visits to countries where English isn't widely spoken, or if you wish to 'go local'—those studying Latin usually go in different directions at this point, depending on what they need. These lessons in Latin are meant for those who feel that learning Latin would make a change in their work. For starters, it is expedient to learn how to say hello/goodbye, as well as basic business protocol; once the basics have been mastered, reading and writing come to the fore. If there are 2 or more of you with the same level of Latin, the same goals sought for the language and be able to study at the same time and location, then you'll be happy to know that these Latin lessons can also be made available with Two-to-One Latin Lessons or Small Group In-Company Latin Lessons. Listen & Learn does not generally recommend classes with more than 6-8 people, though Taster lessons in Latin can run with up to 12 people. You and your group can be trained by our qualified Latin teachers and can meet at your place of work or home at a time that works best for you. Tutorials can take place any day of the week, including weekends, and can be scheduled for the morning, afternoon or evening. Those wishing to learn Latin in groups of two or more together (Two-to-One Latin Lessons or Small Group In-Company Latin Lessons) can sign up for our group classes. All students must be at nearly the same level of Latin proficiency, have the same needs from the language and be able to study at the same time and place as the others. Bookings must be made for all students simultaneously. Listen & Learn does not propose group sizes of more than 6-8 people, but In-Company Taster Latin Lessons can occur with up to 12 people.
