Face-to-Face 1-to-1 (Individual) General Tibetan
These Tibetan lessons are more general in nature and are targeted at students who have a whole range of different needs. While all beginners level students can expect to cover Survival Tibetan—required for short visits to a country where English may not be spoken and/or the intention is to make good contacts with the local population—students then generally progress in different directions depending on their needs. Typical students include those buying property overseas, spouses of overseas nationals, people about to set off on that long-awaited world trip, Tibetan-culture enthusiasts and those who are keen to pass a particular Tibetan examination. Face-to-Face 1-to-1 (Individual) Business Tibetan
These Tibetan lessons are driven towards people who have a requirement to learn Tibetan to bolster their work output. For novices, you will find it useful to learn basic greetings and business etiquette. Once you have become more proficient, then reading and writing will come to the fore. Typical students include those concerned with imports and exports, those seeking work in multinational companies, international negotiations and anyone working with international colleagues or administration. Even in our most rudimentary lesson for beginnners, students can expect to finish with decent telephone and e-mail Tibetan, as well as a good enough grip on the language for a short trip to the country where the language is spoken. Face-to-Face Closed (Private) Group General or Business Tibetan
If there are 2 or more of you with the same level of Tibetan, the same goals sought for the language and be able to study at the same time and location, then you'll be happy to know that these Tibetan lessons can also be made available with Two-to-One Tibetan Lessons or Small Group In-Company Tibetan Lessons. Listen & Learn does not generally recommend classes with more than 6-8 people, though Taster lessons in Tibetan can run with up to 12 people. Skype, Google Meet or Zoom Online 1-to-1 (Individual) General or Business Tibetan
You and your group can be trained by our native speaker qualified Tibetan teachers and can meet at your place of work or home at a time that works best for you. Tutorials can take place any day of the week, including weekends, and can be scheduled for the morning, afternoon or evening. Skype, Google Meet or Zoom Online Group (Closed or Open) General or Business Tibetan
Those wishing to learn Tibetan in groups of two or more together (Two-to-One Tibetan Lessons or Small Group In-Company Tibetan Lessons) can sign up for our group classes. All students must be at nearly the same level of Tibetan proficiency, have the same needs from the language and be able to study at the same time and place as the others. Bookings must be made for all students simultaneously. Listen & Learn does not propose group sizes of more than 6-8 people, but In-Company Taster Tibetan Lessons can occur with up to 12 people.
