This set of Tibetan tutorials are less specific and more targeted for those who want to get a range of different things from learning Tibetan. Even though all novice students will cover survival Tibetan: as well as Tibetan to visit somewhere abroad to make solid contacts with the locals, what do you do from there? It depends on your needs. Those who have benefited from these lessons have been those moving or investing overseas, spouses of overseas nationals, people who love to travel all over the world, those interested in Tibetan culture and those who just want to pass a specific examination in Tibetan. The people who would benefit the most from these Tibetan tutorials are those who feel they need to learn Tibetan to help them out in their business lives. For starters, learning salutations and business etiquette is essential. Once these have been practised, then reading and writing lessons can begin. Typical studiers have been those involved in international imports/exports, negotiations and acquisitions, multinational companies requiring another language and those working in any way with international governments and relevant administration. Even our simplest lesson for beginners will have students finishing the lessons with basic telephone and e-mail Tibetan as well as survival Tibetan should a visit to the country be necessary. Those wishing to learn Tibetan in groups of two or more together (Two-to-One Tibetan Lessons or Small Group In-Company Tibetan Lessons) can sign up for our group classes. All students must be at nearly the same level of Tibetan proficiency, have the same needs from the language and must be able to study at the same time and place as the others. Bookings must be made for all students simultaneously. Listen & Learn does not suggest group sizes of more than 6-8 people, but In-Company Taster Tibetan Lessons can occur with up to 12 people. You and your group can be trained by our native speaker qualified Tibetan teachers and can meet at your place of work or home at a time that works best for you. Tutorials can take place any day of the week, including weekends, and can be scheduled for the morning, afternoon or evening. If your home or office is not fitting for you, you can attend the lesson at the teacher's offices. You will be provided with all relevant lesson materials. Enquire now about our Tibetan Courses.
If there are two or more of you with the same level of Tibetan, the same targets within the language and are able to study at the same time and location, then you'll be happy to know that these Tibetan lessons can also be made available for Two-to-One Tibetan Lessons or Small Group In-Company Tibetan Lessons. Listen & Learn does not generally recommend classes of more than 6-8 people, though Taster lessons in Tibetan can run with up to 12 people.
