These Urdu lessons are more general in nature and are targeted at students who have a whole range of different needs. While all beginners level students can expect to cover Survival Urdu—required for short visits to a country where English may not be spoken and/or the intention is to make good contacts with the local population—students then generally progress in different directions depending on their needs. Typical students include those buying property overseas, spouses of overseas nationals, people about to set off on that long-awaited world trip, Urdu-culture enthusiasts and those who are keen to pass a particular Urdu examination. Face-to-Face 1-to-1 (Individual) Business Urdu
These lessons in Urdu are meant for those who feel that learning Urdu would make a change in their work. For starters, it is expedient to learn how to say hello/goodbye, as well as basic business protocol; once the basics have been mastered, reading and writing come to the fore. Students who have greatly benefited have been involved in import/export, international negotiations and acquisitions, jobseekers in multinational companies where another language is required and those working in the international academia and government circuits. Even in our most fundamental beginner's lesson, students can anticipate ending the lesson with basic telephone Urdu and e-mail Urdu skills for communicating, as well as survival Urdu if a short visit to the country is needed. Face-to-Face Closed (Private) Group General or Business Urdu
If there are 2 or more of you with the same level of Urdu, the same goals sought for the language and be able to study at the same time and location, then you'll be happy to know that these Urdu lessons can also be made available with Two-to-One Urdu Lessons or Small Group In-Company Urdu Lessons. Listen & Learn does not generally recommend classes with more than 6-8 people, though Taster lessons in Urdu can run with up to 12 people. Bookings must be made for all participants at the same time. Skype, Google Meet or Zoom Online 1-to-1 (Individual) General or Business Urdu
Our native-speaking qualified Urdu teachers can instruct you and your group at your work or at home at a time most convenient for you. Classes can take place on any day of the week—even weekends—morning, afternoon or evening. If meeting at your office or home is not suitable, you can take your lessons at the trainer's office. Two or more people can benefit studying Urdu together as these Urdu lessons are also offered to groups (Two-to-One Urdu Lessons or Small Group In-Company Urdu Lessons). Every student must have the same degree of knowledge of the language, the same business or language needs and the ability to study at the same time and place as everybody else.
